Fairytale Style Wedding Session at Live Oak Plantation

You know how you see something and you know you just have to have it? Well bridal suite posted a photo of this amazing black accented wedding dress and we just knew that we had to create a styled wedding session around it! We set out to get other vendors involved that had a similar vision and love for the whimsical and enchanting! Live Oak was gracious enough to be the setting for this fantasy wedding shoot, and once we got the ever amazing Fiore and the creative talent from Salon San Carlos, we knew we were on our way to creating some amazing imagery that would just have to be shared and hung on walls!

Details—

Shannon from Fiore created a table with a dark whimsical vibe, while Cake Gallery completed the look with a black cake with gold flake accents and we topped it with some of the flowers from the table. It all flowed together wonderfully!

We try to treat these sessions just like we would a real wedding, shooting details and the dress in the beginning stages of the getting ready process followed by moving in on those beautiful hair and makeup shots as the look starts to come together.

Getting ready info—

The ladies from Salon San Carlos were awesome! They worked on hair and makeup at the same time and the everything came together even better than we had imagined. Alma created and elegant updo while Katey chose a classic makeup look with a beautiful bold lip to give a little pop of color, kind of like the cherry on top of a phenomenal cake, if you will! The entire look was completely enchanting!

The Couple Shoot—

The actual session with Hanna and Justin only took about 50 minutes from start to finish. Even though Live Oak is a large venue with plenty of places to photograph, we knew what we were after and moving between locations on property went smoothly. This is what we always want for our wedding couples. Whether it’s a partial session pre-ceremony after the first look and then finishing with some sunset magic, or setting aside enough time between the ceremony and the end of cocktail hour to make sure we get what we know they really want! We know the difference in getting a few amazing shots in a couple of different spots and getting the best out of the venue and location that you have chosen to have your magical day!
